Students will receive a course certificate after successfully completing the course.

• Understand the scope of the LEED project, registration, certification, online use, responsibility matrix, and collaborative planning process for sustainability.

• Examine the ideas of Location, Transportation and Sustainable Sites.

• Using the LEED Water Efficiency framework, focused on determining and comprehending the project's water demands.

• Discuss and simulate the amount of energy a building consumes using the Energy & Atmosphere category as a guide.

• Examine building materials thoroughly as part of this sustainability planning process, paying special attention to contractor responsibility credits, construction waste management, and the LEED Materials & Resources category.

• Discuss and look into daylighting ideas to enhance the project's inside environment.

• Regional priorities, innovation, the relationship between LEED and WELL, final certification, and team recommendations.
