Learn why certain vulnerable sites should be avoided and why the development of others would result in a more sustainable built environment in this intermediate-level webinar. The lecture will focus on the credits in the Sustainable Sites category of the LEED Green Building Rating System for New Construction and Major Renovations. Within that category, it will focus on a group of credits that specify where to develop.

At the end of the webinar, students will understand why certain sites should be protected from development, and what characteristics of a site make it a more sustainable option for a building project.
