This four part webinar LEED AP BD+C Exam Prep series will prepare you to become an expert in green building as a LEED AP with a specialization in USGBC's Green Building Design and Construction Rating System. The BD+C Rating System is the most utilized in LEED projects, and is applicable for most new construction or major renovations of a commercial, institutional or high-rise residential project. This course thoroughly prepares candidates for the LEED AP BD+C credentialing exam, covering the point structure and requirements of every applicable LEED credit, while preparing students for the testing environment.
The LEED AP BD+C credential gives professionals expertise in the design and construction phases of green buildings serving the commercial, high-rise residential, education and healthcare sectors. The specialty denotes practical knowledge in the LEED for New Construction, LEED for Schools and LEED for Core and Shell rating systems.
1.) The LEED AP BD+C credentialing exam tests individuals on the extensive, highly technical information found in USGBC's BD+C Reference Guide. This course highlights the most important information you need to tackle for the exam, and provides you with a clear study path and strategy for success.
2.) Our webinars are an interactive, intimate and intense collaborative learning experience including analysis of real-world examples of LEED principles and certified projects; study techniques that will help you become exam-prepared in as little as 30 hours; supplementary study materials; ongoing phone/email support from your instructor until your test date; and more!
3.) All AIA members who attend the seminar will receive 8.0 HSW credits (4 of which satisfy the Sustainable Design requirement)! Non-AIA members can use our certificate of completion for self-reporting the 8 education hours.
This course is recommended for individuals who have passed the Green Associate Exam, or who plan to take the combined GA/AP exam. Please note that GBCI requires that you have experience working on a LEED-registered project prior to applying for the LEED AP BD+C exam, however there are no pre-requisites for taking this preparatory course.
