Why Should You Take This 30-Hour Concrete Safety Manager Course?
This 30-Hour Concrete Safety Manager course is approved by the NYC Department of Buildings. This course is a comprehensive review of the New York City Building Code 3300, New York City Department of Buildings Local Laws and bulletins, and OSHA 1926, subparts C, E, X, Q, R and N. The purpose of the course is to prepare candidates with safe job practices for New York City major buildings where 2000 cubic yards of concrete are to be poured.
This course is designed for workers who are intending to apply for their Concrete Safety Manager license and have 5 years of construction supervising experience, and where the concrete portion of the project(s) involved the placement of at least 2,000 cubic yards of concrete.
Students must be able to communicate with the instructor in the language the course is held in and to attain a New York City Department of Buildings certification, student must have 5 years of construction supervising experience concrete operations. Valid picture ID required.
