This 32-Hour Rigging Supervisor Spanish course is required for any individual who is not a licensed rigger but will supervise hoisting and lowering items on the outside of buildings in New York City. This course provides advanced instruction on OSHA, DOB, and ASME safety procedures as they relate to rigging. This course emphasizes instruction on the coordination of rigging crews and equipment setup. By the end of this course, students will able to supervise rigging operations on construction sites.
This course is presented entirely in Spanish. Students will learn from both live lecture and hands-on exercises. These hands-on exercises include the use various rigging equipment. Active participation and 100% attendance is required for passing the learning activities. Upon successful completion of this course and the course exam, students will receive their 32-Hour Rigging Supervisor Spanish certificate.

Note: At the end of the course students must pass the written and practical exam at the in order to receive credit. This course has no prerequisites.
Compliance Code Satisfied: As per 3316.9.2.1 of the 2014 NYC Construction Codes, this course is required by the New York City Department of Buildings (DOB) for individuals who supervise workers attaching or detaching articles from the hook of hoisting equipment and signal persons communicating with such in New York City.
