Corporate Training By Zack Academy - 6-Hour SST Course - Supported Scaffold and Electives

This 6-Hour SST Course - Supported Scaffold and Electives course is designed for construction workers or supervisors in NYC in need of approved SST courses to meet the training requirement set by Local Law 196. This course combines the 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User course and the 2-Hour General Electives requirement for maximum convenience.

Supported scaffold accidents are one of the biggest sources of on-the-job fatalities in construction. It's extremely important to understand all of the components of these devices such as frames, towers, and clamping systems to prevent deadly falls and other types of accidents on supported scaffolds.

This course will review safety training as it pertains to supported scaffolds, as well as NYC Department of Building construction codes. This will include a hands-on review of personal protective equipment and fall arrest systems. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a course certificate.
