This 4-hour Advanced Rigging course with NACB is designed to provide students with in-depth knowledge on the best practices related to mechanical lifting, or rigging. Specifically, students will learn how to operate and maintain rigging equipment in accordance with OSHA requirements.
Rigging is a very important part of construction operations; however, rigging systems can be extremely dangerous. Without proper training on mechanical lifting, injury or fatalities can occur on a worksite. This Advanced Rigging Seminar goes beyond the typical education found in rigging courses and focuses on hazard identification, rigging inspection, and other techniques to help students learn to prevent accidents before they occur. By the end of this course, students will now how to efficiently and safely operate a mechanical lifting system.
This course combines live lecture with hands-on training for maximized learning. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive a certificate of attendance.
