This Defensive Driving Procedures course is designed for those who operate motor vehicles while on a worksite. Students will learn advanced safety techniques to reduce their risk of accidents while on the job. Training will include instruction on hazard recognition, vehicle safety measures, and the effects of alcohol consumption on driver safety.
Every year, motor vehicle collisions are responsible for thousands of injuries. As a result, it's important for any company that uses cars, trucks, forklifts, or any other motor vehicle to receive defensive driving training. This course teaches students how to identify hazards and remediate them before accidents happen.
This course is presented fully online. Students will be able to start and stop course modules as needed. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible for 1.0 Professional Development Hours (PDH).
