This Epidemic/Pandemic Response Contractor - Online course is an introduction to containment and response methods against viral and bacterial outbreaks. Specifically, students will learn about contamination response, hazard communication, and remediation methods in order to become the first line of safety response during pandemics such as COVID-19. Additionally for 2021, course modules added to discuss the path to re-occupancy! Topics include personal protection equipment, contamination response and remediation methods, stakeholder communication, and provides a comprehensive source for resources from the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), John’s Hopkins University, and the Occupational Safety and Health Organization (OSHA).
This course is ideal for anyone involved in safety administration. Students will learn from a variety of resources including protocols from the World Health Organization (WHO), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and OSHA.
This course is provided entirely online. Upon successful completion, students will receive a certificate valid for one year.
