The Fall Protection Systems Awareness (Construction) - Online course will help students become aware of their surroundings as well as gain protection from falling items. The additional topics covered include body belts, working positioning systems and travel restraint devices. Students will understand which personal fall protection device is most suited to the task being done on a job site. The interactive simulation, which takes place in a virtual construction site, will guide students through the process of identifying hazards and applying safety precautions to make sure workers are properly outfitted. The interactive simulation allows students to explore the construction environment of a high-rise building and identify potential hazards and missing fall protection systems while adhering to OSHA Standards 1910.28.140, Subpart D, 1926.106, Subpart M, 1925.500, and industry best practices.
