Personal Fall Arrest System (PFAS) Donning - Online training is a 20-minute course that will teach students how to properly don, tighten the straps and align the PFAS. Students will be able to check that the PFAS is secure, prevent suspension trauma and adhere to OSHA Standard: 1926.503 and industry standard procedures. Students will learn how to distinguish between the various parts of a fall arrest harness. Utilize the buddy system to safely use the don fall arrest harness. Gain knowledge of suspension trauma and taking steps to avoid suspension trauma. Students can assist a virtual colleague in putting on a harness through the use of an interactive simulation, emphasizing the need of using PFAS correctly and being cautious when working at heights.
