The Forklift: Key On Inspection Part 2 - Online covers the second of the two components of the preoperational forklift inspection. This course covers the protocols for taking a forklift out of service as well as the significance and regularity of pre-operation inspections. Other topics covered include inspecting items for legibility, as well as ensuring that all lights, the dashboard panel, safety devices, forks, and mast movement are operational. An interactive simulation captures a worker inspecting a forklift before beginning their shift. Pre-operation inspection routines and significance are reviewed in the course. In order to help learners become proficient in conducting inspections and promote a safer workplace, an interactive simulation provides hands-on experience that leads learners through the inspection process.
