Why Should You Attend This Heartsaver CPR/AED Course?
This Heartsaver CPR/AED course provides training for anyone who wants to learn basic CPR, does NOT work in the health field and needs to obtain a Heartsaver course completion card. Participants will be trained in the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs) and adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). The training meets the needs of workplace responders, professional rescuers school staffs, professional responders and healthcare providers, as well as the general public.
Cardiopulmonary resuscitation, commonly known as CPR, is an emergency procedure performed in an effort to manually preserve intact brain function until further measures are taken to restore spontaneous blood circulation and breathing in a person who is in cardiac arrest. It is indicated in those who are unresponsive with no breathing or abnormal breathing, for example, agonal respirations.
