Why Should You take This Industrial Fork Truck Operator training course?
Any mobile power-propelled truck used to carry, push, pull, lift, stack or tier materials is considered a powered industrial truck. Powered industrial trucks can be ridden or controlled by a walking operator. Earth moving and over-the-road haulage trucks are not included in this definition. Equipment that was designed to move earth but has been modified to accept forks are also not included.
This Industrial Fork Truck Operator training course will include classroom instruction, a practical evaluation and written examination. Certification will be valid for three years upon completion. Topics covered include OSHA requirements, general operating rules, pre-operation inspection, start-up procedures, re-fueling procedures, entering/exiting, components/controls, stability triangles, maintenance and traveling speeds.
