The NCCER Construction Site Safety Training (CSST) and Construction Site Safety Supervisor (CSSS) course will prepare students for the widely recognized safety certifications offered by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, including the Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) and Safety Trained Supervisor Construction (STSC). This course offers comprehensive coverage of safety subjects and industry best practices. The course is designed to promote a safety-first philosophy across all levels of an organization, from entry-level to management.
The Construction Site Safety Training (CSST) portion of the course is designed for industry safety professionals, company safety officers and site safety coordinators. Topics to be coerced include: Hazard Recognition, Emergency Action Plans and Record keeping.
The Construction Site Safety Supervisor (CSSS) portion of the course will cover safety on the job site for project personnel. Topics to be covered include: Confined Spaces and Evacuation, Electrical Safety and Heavy Equipment, Forklift and Crane Safety.
