This OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry - Mandarin course provides construction workers with essential health and safety skills needed on a construction job site. Students will learn OSHA regulations and laws pertaining to the construction industry.
By the end of the course, students will be able to recognize, prevent, and abate common construction site hazards. The OSHA 10-Hour Construction Industry - Mandarin is taught completely in Mandarin Chinese. Students will learn from a variety of media including live lectures, video presentation, and open discussions.
As part of the Occupation Safety and Health Act, this 10-hour course is required by numerous Federal and State authorities in order to legally perform construction work. All employees on a job site must be trained on the hazards of their job before they start work. This Occupational and Safety Health Act is administered through OSHA and educates workers on workplace safety. OSHA has specified safety standards unique construction industry due to this industry being one of the most dangerous to workers. These specific construction standards can be found in 29 CFR Part 1926.
This course goes over these specific construction industry standards, which are revised annually to cover a variety of protocol relating to residential, industrial and commercial construction standards.
