This OSHA 300 Recordkeeping and Reporting Online Anytimecourse is an advanced safety course that teaches supervisors and managers how to handle workplace injuries and illnesses. This course is conveniently provided online.
This course is based on OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1904 and includes the recent Improve Tracking Final Rule updates to the standard, which are scheduled to take effect January 1, 2017. The primary focus of this OSHA reporting course is the importance of keeping a proper record of injuries and illness to prevent and minimize similar accidents in the future.
Under the OSHA Recordkeeping Standard, covered employers are required to prepare and maintain records of serious occupational injuries and illnesses using the OSHA 300 Log. This information is important for employers, workers and OSHA in evaluating the safety of a workplace, understanding industry hazards, and implementing worker protections to reduce and eliminate hazards. The record keeping forms provided by OSHA are Forms 300, 300A and 301.
