This Support Scaffold training course will focus on the use of supported scaffolds in construction that fall under OSHA standard 1926.451. Participants will learn the various types of the most commonly used supported scaffold including frame, system, pump jacks, and roof jacks. This training will combine OSHA regulations with appropriate ANSI Standards to provide a high level worker training, with real-world applicability.
At successful completion of course attendees will receive Certificate of Completion.To meet ANSI requirements of training, a written test will be administered. A passing grade of 75% is expected to successfully complete course.
The Supported Scaffold course reviews the general scaffold requirements along with specific requirements including daily inspections to the following type of supported scaffolds:
Fabricated Frame
Systems
Horse
Carpenter Bracket
Pump Jacks
Ladder Jacks
Roof Jacks
Crawling Boards
Step & Trestle Ladder
This course provides comprehensive training for both beginner and veteran workers who will encounter elevated platforms on the jobsite. Standards covered will include OSHA Subpart L and applicable ANSI standards of elevated work platforms.
