Lianna Development Corporation has been providing lead hazard related consultant services since 1999. The owner/president has operated over nine Lead-Based Paint Hazard Control Programs. The company was accredited by EPA in August 2010 and approved by the State of Ohio Department of Health in October 2010 to provide the Renovation, Repair and Painting Certification courses Initial and Refresher. LDCTP is committed to providing the best learning experience, and has purchased a training center dedicated to enhancing students learning experiences.

Albert from Lianna Development Corp. was a great instructor. He was even nice enough to let us know that there is a grant program that will pay for the class. This is through the state of Ohio. So go to his website to sign up and he has the link for the free sign up.

The over all course probably had more content than needed. The instructor was basicly a past military, past city worker. He taught like a military guy. Was very strick with time lines, I had to laugh that when the final test came, he required everything off the desk, no talking at all and gave strick 1 hour time. I thought I was back in High school. College testing was never like this back in 70's and 80's. Saying that, he did have very good stories for the content. Though at one time I was so scared based on his stories, I wanted to go get a blood test right then to see how much lead may be in my body and how many more minutes I would be alive. He was friendly yet very loud sometimes and demanding like a sargent on a military run.

The lead inspector training at Lianna Development Corporation was among the top 5% of training experiences I have ever encountered. From the beginning, the instructor established the critical health importance of the field and provided numerous personal and professional experiences to make the topic relatable. As a highly regulated field, much of the lead instruction required tons of slideshow presentations. However, the instructor's personality and anecdotes helped it not feel like "death by slideshow" and instead made it feel as if the slides were supporting evidence for his personal belief in the importance of inspectors in protecting human health. Will definitely be taking more courses from LDC.

I was very impressed with the detailed instruction by Albert. I had some concerns as I have back issues and wondered if I could sit for the 8 hrs ( I can only sit for so long and likewise stand for so long) Albert is an excellent instructor, bringing a vast wealth of knowledge combined with a compelling , smooth method of instruction that one only achieves with a seasoned history. His method of instruction did not seem rushed even though there was a massive amount of information to cover. Albert made sure to answer all questions or concerns that the class had. I found his course to be informative, detailed, and even delivered a laugh or two along the way. ( the best instructors find a sneaky way to make you remember really important stuff). Thank You again!

The instructor was very thorough and did a great job covering a lot of material in such a short period of time. The hands-on training was exceptional and I really appreciated how he had all of us involved in class participation. He made the course fun and I actually liked learning about all of it and how important it is to know about lead and the effects it can have on people/children. My instructor was definitely passionate about teaching this course and it showed by the responses in the class.

Mr. Smith @ Lianna Development exceeded any expectations I had in taking a mandatory class for certification. I will be strongly recommending him for anyone I know that needs the certification. Mr. Smith “knows the room” and provides value by going beyond the required teaching needed to pass the test. He gives real life scenarios and solutions for dealing with the changes in the field and on site in being RRP compliant. I have been in home improvement for 30+ years and Mr Smith taught me new ways of thinking and new techniques on efficiency that went far beyond “textbook” teaching.
