Founded in 1989, NATEC International, Inc. is one of the largest training companies in California and has celebrated twenty-five years of providing accredited hazardous material related training courses. We offer classroom facilities in Northern and Southern California and hold numerous publicly held classes. Course was exactly as expected. Good instructor and it’s not a complete snooze class. Good info, course work, facility etc. But a word of warning, the ac at this location was set to like 55° so bring two sweaters. Natalie S.

While I was able to easily pass the test I left the class still unsure of my ability to confidently encounter lead in the real world. I think hands on training, mock set ups and safety procedures would be more beneficial. I also would have appreciated a heads up on the VERY limited parking at the anaheim facility. The building is also in desperate need of a refresh. The carpet is stained all over the place, old dirty photos framed on the walls and random patches that need to bee sanded and painted. A little TLC could go a long way in this building. Especially when you're serving renovators, construction workers and the like. The restrooms were very clean and the refreshments offered were a good touch of hospitality though. Samantha M.

I paid for a book that showed up at my office the day I was in class. I think it would be beneficial if this book was either held at the school and delivered in person or mailed early enough to arrive so I could take it to the class.The course and the instructor were excellent, and I appreciate their hard work. The instructor was very good.! I learned a lot of valuable data, including the data that the EPA was going to implement more rules / restrictions coming in January 1st 2025.
That the instructor is also a Lead inspector was beneficial as he could relate to the data with examples to back up the data relayed to us.
There is only one thing that could be improved. The book and the computer screen (layout) could be communicated so each are easy to follow. Eg. Module 3, page # in the book visible on the screen. .Eg. What is the time that a contractor has to send the booklet for lead safe practices. Then indicate the page number in the booklet. Or better yet whatever is being shown on the screen also indicate in large font what page in the booklet that is being taken from. That way the student doesn't have to be flipping through the booklet while the instructor was relating the data on the screen as it is shown on the screen what page that is from.
