The Laboratory Safety Institute (LSI) was founded in 1978 by Dr. James A. Kaufman to provide safety training for secondary school science teachers. We are a non-profit (501C3) corporation and Massachusetts Public Charity and the only Non-Profit International Center for Lab Safety in Science and Science Education. We are dedicated to providing the highest quality safety training, audits, inspections and consultation services in a wide variety of academic and non-academic environments. To date, we have trained over 100,000 professionals from secondary schools, universities, colleges, government, and private industries.

Great webinar. I was nervous about the interaction between host and attendees, but those nerves quickly subside once Jim started the webinar. He was easy going and approachable and willing to answer all our questions. There were 4 attendees all at different points in our career and he made sure to give individualized advice to each of us. I look forward to gaining more knowledge though other resources provided by LSI. Paul D.

This course definitely was a great refresher course on what I already knew. I also learned a lot of new guidelines due to the new GHS labelling system and also what the standards are according to OSHA guidelines. It also clarified a lot of issues we were dealing with at our lab. For a short two day safety course, it exceeded my expectations. kandi w.

Excellent instructor! He had a wealth of knowledge and told stories that were true and illustrtared his teaching points. He really got me interested in the course material and kept me riveted the whole class!
