This IATA Competency course will provide a thorough explanation of as well as a hands-on experience with IATA's new competency-based assessment methodology. This program went into effect on January 1, 2023, for shippers of dangerous commodities by air who follow the IATA (International Air Transport Association) regulations outlined in this online webinar.
In this IATA Competency course, our trainers will guide you through the process of identifying who is eligible to serve as an assessor, understanding competency-based aspects in training and assessment programs and much more. The disparities between domestic and foreign legislation, as well as the regulatory developments that have taken place over the last two years, will also be covered. Examples of utilizing the IATA Dangerous commodities regulations to prepare products for transportation will be presented at the end of the course.

• How to classify and prepare dangerous goods for shipment
• How to complete IATA shipping papers
• How to comply with DOT requirements for international shipments
