Why Should You Take This RCRA Hazardous Waste Management course?
If your facility generates hazardous waste, you must comply with detailed regulatory requirements for waste characterization, container marking and labeling, waste minimization, manifesting, transportation, emergency response, and land disposal certification.
This RCRA Hazardous Waste Management course will teach you how to properly identify, accumulate, minimize, and ship hazardous waste. You will learn how to develop a contingency plan and how to comply with land disposal restrictions. The course provides an in-depth look at the latest regulatory requirements, waste exemptions and exclusions, new universal waste requirements, VOC standards for hazardous waste generators, and waste minimization. This course is recommended for waste generators of all sizes as well as consultants that work on contaminated project sites.
Please Note: EPA and state regulations require annual hazardous waste management training.

This class includes an overview and history of hazardous waste management laws and regulations; how to comply with the confusing myriad of hazardous waste regulations including recognizing hazardous wastes; managing waste correctly on site; properly selecting, marking and labeling waste containers; preparation of shipments for transport to treatment, storage and disposal facilities; and properly keeping records for compliance and enforcement.
The course is designed to assist facilities to meet the annual training requirements for generators of hazardous waste, such as those requirements presented in 40 CFR 265.16, 40 CFR 264.16 and 40 CFR 262.34.
