Green cleaning practices and products, as well as the benefits associated with it including those related to human health, the environment, sanitation, and the community, will be presented in this 2-hour webinar. Green cleaning strategies will be detailed and the associated intent, requirements, and implementation strategies under the LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance rating system will be identified.
Through the completion of this webinar, participants will gain insight on what green cleaning means and the benefits associated with it. Students will gain the tools necessary to develop a green cleaning plan for implementation, and will become familiar with the specific requirements for green cleaning in the LEED EB:O+M green building rating system.

The info was good and the instructor seemed to know the info for the most part.
The hardest thing was to sit for 2 hours and listen to this topic. Not much excitement from the instructor, a very mono toned 2 hours. Sarah W.

The information was good. There was a problem with the sound in that it kept coming in and out. It made the presentation kind of hard to follow. Everything was presented clearly. However, there was an assumption made that all attendees had some previous LEED training, which was not the case for most of us. Since we were all so "green," some better explanations and clarification could have been given on terminology. Other than this, the trainer did an excellent job. Kristina J.

This was the second course I had with Jean and again she did a wonderful job with the webinar and explaining the Green Cleaning Strategies that go into making up the Existing Buildings Operation and Maintenance Policy Model for LEED 3.0. She took the time to answer questions the students had, even though there were not many as Jean laid out a great platform and variety of info the explain the basic principles of Green Cleaning. The highlights were the extensive green cleaning items she described were safe for the environment, and Jeans explanation of the APPA cleaning standards and levels. I would certainly recommend this webinar to those seeking more information and further learning on Green Cleaning Strategies. Aja H.
