This IICRC Continuing Education - TCST course is designed specifically to provide technicians with necessary refresher training. After finishing this course, students will earn 14 CE hours. The training covers the procedure for inspecting and analyzing crime and trauma scenes, which may contain blood and other potentially contagious substances. The training will go over the procedures to follow as well as the safeguards that must be considered in such a setting. The curriculum is based on the ANSI/IICRC S540 Standard for Trauma and Crime Scene Cleaning. Students must attend the entire session in order to get credit. There is no exam because this course is designed solely for continuing education.
