Why Should You Take This IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) Course?
The IICRC Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) course covers mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals engaged in property management, property restoration, IEQ (Indoor Environmental Quality) investigations or other related professions.
Emphasis will be placed on teaching mold and sewage remediation techniques to individuals who will perform these procedures in the field. Course graduates will be adequately equipped to perform remediation services while protecting the health and safety of workers and occupants.

- Applied Microbial Remediation Technician (AMRT) regulations
- Mold and Sewer Remediation Techniques
- Indoor Environmental Quality Issues
- Property Restoration and Management
- Containment Types and Set-Ups
- Pressure Differentials
- Demolition and Cleaning Procedures
- Personal Protective Equipment
Class Prerequisite: IICRC Water Damage Restoration (WRT) training must be completed prior to attending AMRT - bring your IICRC card for verification. If you have not received your card from IICRC yet, please bring your training certificate.
IICRC Exam Fees: The AMRT certification exam fee is $150; retests will be $80. These fees are in addition to the course registration fee and are paid directly to IICRC online prior to course start date. Please use this link to register for the exam: https://iicrc.org/

Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry. IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years. Click here to view IICRC CEU course options.
Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.

Destry is a very knowledgeable, fun, fountain of information. He teaches very well, and I retained the information better because of his methods. Brian was also a great help and I would recommend this class to anyone who is pursuing their masters in water. Oh, and the food was PHENOMENAL!!!!!

I think Destry did a great job preparing us for the exam. I feel like all the information needed was given throughout the week. I do think some more hands on or visuals spread out through the week would keep everyone more engaged. However his knowledge was obvious and I took away a great deal. Christ M.

The course was well structured both detailed information and hands on training. The facility's process for students safety was very sufficient to overcome the pandemics challenges.
