Why Should You Take This Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) course?
This IICRC Carpet Cleaning Technician (CCT) course will cover carpet cleaning "inside & out" and enable you to be confident on every job no matter what the customer asks you or what the cleaning challenges are. Emphasis will be placed on the process and principles of carpet cleaning, how to remove stubborn stains, how to prevent stains from returning, and the chemistry of carpet stains.
Topics Include:
- The Process and Principles of Carpet Cleaning
- Fibers and Identification
- The Chemistry of Carpet Stains
- Carpet Construction
- Cleaning Methods
- Stain Resistant Capabilities
- Use of Chemicals in Spotting
- Carpet Installation Methods
- After Cleaning Treatments
IICRC Exam Fees: $80.00 for each exam. Retests are $80.00 per exam. These fees are in addition to the registration fee and are paid directly to the IICRC online prior to course start date. Please use this link to register for the exam: https://iicrc.org/livestreamexamregistration
Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry.
CLEANING/RESTORATION TECHNICIANS: IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.
Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.

I recently attended a CCT IICRC carpet class instructed by an outstanding instructor. Their teaching style was engaging and effective in helping me learn the material. Throughout the course, the instructor kept the class engaging and interactive, which made the learning experience enjoyable. They were able to answer all of my questions and provided real-world examples that helped me better understand the material. I felt comfortable asking for help and feedback, which made me confident in my abilities. I highly recommend this instructor to anyone looking to take a CCT IICRC carpet course. F***ING FANTASTIC! (Sorry for the language, but it was that good) Doug started the class teaching a typical style for IICRC courses and after day one and studying HIS CLASS he changed his way of teaching because a majority of the class were not experienced in carpet cleaning or restoration. I was fine either way he taught but man does it say a lot about Doug when he changed the entire way he was teaching. Showed he truly cares about his students, was a joy it was to be in Doug's class and I will wait until I can get in his UFT class.
