This course is conducted as a live online webinar. Participants will receive additional details 3-5 days prior to class. A digital copy of the student manual will be provided.
To participate in our live-streamed classes, please take note of the following important information and requirements:
- You must have a computer with video and audio capabilities.
- You must have access to a strong, stable internet connection.*
- You must fill out the IICRC Candidate Agreement form and pay for your exam as soon as possible, but in any event no later than 4 days prior to the class.
- When paying your exam fees, you will be asked to upload a piece of photo ID for face recognition during the exam.
- The IICRC will send you a payment confirmation email.
- We ask that you log into the class at least 30 minutes prior to the start time to ensure your technology is working and to be present for attendance and policy review.

This IICRC Fire and Smoke Restoration Technician (FSRT) course concentrates on technical procedure for successfully completing the restoration of a fire and smoke damaged environment. Students will learn how to combine technical procedures with a practical approach to managing the job site and how that relates to pricing the job.

IICRC Exam Fees: $80.00 for each exam. Retests are $80.00 per exam. These fees are in addition to the registration fee and are paid directly to the IICRC online prior to course start date. Please use this link to register for the exam: https://iicrc.org/livestreamexamregistration
Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry.
INSPECTORS: Due to rapid changes in fiber, yarn, dye, manufacturing, finishing and related technologies, IICRC-certified inspectors must attain 14.0 CE credit hours every two years.
CLEANING/RESTORATION TECHNICIANS: IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.
ADVANCED DESIGNATIONS: Those registrants achieving the advanced designations of Master Textile Cleaner (MTC), Master Fire and Smoke Restorer (MSR) or Master Water Restorer (MWR) will be required to attain 14.0 CE credit hours every two years.
Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.

honestly i liked this class a lot more than i thought i would. the instructor was pretty engaging and had a lot of tips for fire cleaning and restoration. he had a lot of stories that made the course easier to understand. he answered the questions i had with respect and with his knowledge let me understand the course material a lot more. i thank him for his time and energy to teach me. Mr William is very professional. Mr William was the best instructor I've had for a IICRC class. I'm very confident that ill pass my test on the first try. Unlike my WTR online class, I didn't understand my instructor. Paid for and took the test 3 times and failed. my last test I failed by 1 point. I do Fire, water and mold jobs everyday, I know exactly what to do. The way she explained the terminally in her class was NOTHING but confusing. It was alot of money down the drain and now have to pay to retake the class and test all over again. However, I learned new work technique, gain a lot of important information to further my career with Mr William. And for that I GIVE HIM 10'S ACROSS-THE-BOARD. THANK YOU MR WILLIAMS.
