This IICRC Upholstery/Fabric Cleaning Technician course presents all of the basic concepts and systems of upholstery and drapery cleaning. The course covers fibers and identification; pre-testing and problems prevention; upholstery and drapery procedures and techniques; and use of chemicals in spotting and after cleaning treatments.

IICRC Exam Fees: $80.00 for each exam. Retests are $80.00 per exam. These fees are in addition to the registration fee and are paid directly to the IICRC online prior to course start date. Please use this link to register for the exam: https://iicrc.org/livestreamexamregistration
Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry.
CLEANING/RESTORATION TECHNICIANS: IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.
Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.

Tom was absolutely AWESOME to say the least! We drove down 6 hours from Durham NC to take the class, and it was very well worth it! His ability to communicate effectively and break everything down to where we all could get a clear understanding was exceptional! We left his class feeling much more informed and knowledgeable than before we came. He was also very patient with one of my employees who'd never attended class before. The class was great and Thomas is an awesome instructor! I was a little worried with this being my first online certification course, but I was extremely impressed. It is obvious that Thomas not only knows the material through and through, but actually loves it! His excitement is infectious and really makes the class enjoyable! I would have liked to have done some hands on stuff, but given that this was all done online, I don't think I could have asked for much better.

I took the upholstery clean course with Thomas Cermak, I really enjoyed it, Thomas has a lot of knowledge and loves what he does! He made sure that his students understood clearly and answered any and all questions that we had. I missed the first few hours of the first day of class and he offered to give me a few hours of class even after class was done for everybody else, I was nervous thinking about the missing information but Thomas was so kind to help me get caught up.
