Why Should You Take This IICRC-approved Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course?
This IICRC-approved Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) course is designed to teach restoration personnel that perform remediation work to give them a better concept of water damage, its effects and techniques for drying of structures. This course will give residential and commercial maintenance personnel the background to understand the procedures necessary to deal with water losses, sewer backflows, and contamination such as mold.
When coupled with additional on-the-job training and field experience, students should be adequately prepared to perform and document typical residential or light commercial water-damage restoration projects from start to finish. They also should be adequately prepared to accomplish further training in other IICRC-approved courses such as ASD (Applied Structural Drying), and AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician), which require WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) as a prerequisite.

- Procedures: Sanitary Water Source
- Procedures: Unsanitary Water
Intended Audience: Restoration & remediation companies, contractors, universities, large organizations, facility managers, water damage technicians, carpet cleaning companies, BOMA members, home & building inspectors, and anyone that deals with water damage.
IICRC Exam Fees: $80.00 for each exam. Retests are $80.00 per exam. These fees are in addition to the registration fee and are paid directly to the IICRC online prior to course start date. Please use this link to register for the exam: https://iicrc.org/livestreamexamregistration
The WRT Certification Exam is comprised of 110 questions, multiple choice.

Continuing Education: The IICRC continuing education program seeks to encourage registrants to actively participate in their industry through conventions, workshops and specialized training with continuing education and by sharing knowledge with others in the industry. IICRC-certified cleaning and restoration technicians face many changes in their field and require 14.0 CE credit hours every four years.
Please Note: Failure to meet continuing education credit requirements will result in suspension of that particular status until the requirement is met and all current course requirements are met.

The class was well organized and taught very well. Brendan gave clear guidelines on all topics we covered in the course, and was very informative when questions were asked. He was adequate in engaging all class participants, to the extent they desired and were comfortable. Aramsco was helpful as to the location and providing lunches and snacks. However the only piece of criticism is the lunch options provided. I have eating restrictions being vegetarian, and that was definitely not accommodated whatsoever. While most had an enjoyable paid for lunch, I had to prepare the night before, ordering more food than needed for dinner to have enough for lunch the next day. While for those that live close to the class this isn’t an issue, myself having traveled for the class, left me with an unforeseen complication that I had to navigate.
For the course, my only piece of criticism would be more hands on learning. While I learn just fine out of a book, being able to utilize devices and practice getting real time readings, would have built confidence and greater understanding all around .
Overall, I would by far attend this class again. Parking at the location was difficult, and each day an announcement had to be made to check your parking spot, or someone might get towed. That was a bit unnerving, and required extra time each morning to be sure parking was executed accurately. Lisa G.

My experience was amazing. Bill by far has been the best instructor I have ever had. He made learning fun and you could tell he gave the class energy. Everybody was eager to learn. My company blessed me with an opportunity to take the IIRC Water Restoration class and i am very greatful for the experience i had. Mr Branden was the instructor, he is very cool and did an excellent job teaching. He even gave out a certificate of completion at the end of the 3 day course. I hope i passed the test.
