The IICRC Trauma and Crime Scene Technician (TCST) certification course reviews the process for inspecting and investigating crime and trauma scenes, which may involve blood and other potentially infectious material. The course will focus on the procedures to follow as well as the precautions that must taken in such an environment. The curriculum is based on the ANSI/IICRC S540 Standard for Trauma and Crime Scene Cleanup.

This was my first online course. I found it very easy to navigate. The instructor, Randy, was knowledgeable and engaging.. I would have much preferred an in person class, especially with this Trauma course. But unless you want to travel out of state, an in person class is mostly unavailable. In an industry that is 90% hands on, I feel like I’m only 50% prepared. It’s like reading an anatomy book and then performing heart surgery. I take what I do very seriously, as I believe most of us do. My work impacts people’s lives emotionally, psychologically, physically, and financially. I want to be prepared 100%. This course is conducted as a live instructor-led webinar. Further details will be provided to you prior to the course.
